Refunds and right of withdrawal

Draft for review by AEROCX. The position below follows the EU Consumer Rights Directive as implemented in Belgian law; have it confirmed before launch.

The right, and when it ends

As a consumer buying online in the EU you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. For digital content supplied immediately, that right ends once supply has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that the right is lost. You give that consent at checkout, and the course opens as soon as the payment is confirmed.

If you have not opened the course

If you change your mind within fourteen days and have not opened any module beyond the free sample, write to [email] with the email address you used and we will refund in full. We check the access log rather than take a view on it.

If something is wrong with the course

If the course does not work as described — you cannot sign in, content is missing, a question is wrong — tell us and we will fix it. Where we cannot, you are entitled to a proportionate reduction or a refund under your statutory rights, and we will not make you argue for it.

What is not refundable

A failed examination, a change of plan, or simply not using the course during the twelve months. We would rather say that plainly here than after you have bought.

How to contact us

Email [email] from the address on your account. We answer within [two] working days. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, normally within five to ten days.

Dispute resolution

If we cannot resolve a complaint, EU consumers may use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform, and consumers in Belgium may contact the Consumer Mediation Service.
